Properties |
Very strong waterproof properties: skin protectant, it does not prevent perspiratio insensibilis. Substitute for petrolatum and silicones. Emollient. Lubricant. The consistency of the liquid or fluid O/W or W/O emulsion does not significantly change in the presence of a small PME-1 percentage within a 20°C - 50°C temperature range.

1.0% - 4.0% in waterproof sunscreen preparations; barrier creams; baby products; pharmaceutical and cosmetic ointments; lipsticks; lip balms; massage creams; hand creams.
